I went to Mt. Douglas today. I was so excited since it was first time in ages and I found a deer!!
Of course I chased it. I couldn't hear mummy's voice to stop my chasing because my consciousness just focused on the prey and I was too excited.
I returned to mummy after that, but she got so angry... and I had to stay like this pic for a while. All my feeling that went outside returned inside and I calmed down.
I'm sorry I never chase a deer again... maybe.

LED lighting

Do you know LED?
LED lighting is better for the environment. Because it doesn't need gas to light (doesn't use mercury), using LED reduces a half of carbon dioxide emissions and it lights three times longer than fluorescent.
LED lighting has become popular in Japan. I hope it will be popular in Canada, too.

This LED lighting was made by my parents. Daddy made LED lighting parts and mummy made the lampshade with paper. Lighting color can be changed by gradation. It looks fantastic!

Actually I don't need any lighting though, haha...

Today, we couldn't go to McKenzie Bight where we go regularly because we couldn't park our car due to deep snow. So, we went to Durrance Lake near McKenzie Bight.
Anyway,

I've never seen such deep snow!!

Everything were covered with snow and so beautiful.

We went to Gold Stream Provincial Park to watch the salmon run. We could watch salmon run up the stream but I was bored and I wanted to go the bush on the opposite side of the stream.

So I complained, and...

I pulled mummy strongly.

As a result, mummy got angry and let me go back to our car instead of playing in the bush :"(

But we went to Thetis Lake where I love after that :) I just wanted to run, not to watch the run!

Hi, long time no see everyone.

I was a little busy because I went to Toronto to see my grandparents by my car and I just moved my apartment after the trip.

Anyway, Here I was taking a break in Missoula, MT.

I could see beautiful mountains with different color from my island's mountain's.

It seemed that island was so big. I went through Washington and Idaho, but I can't see the sea over this land.

I missed my sea because here's too hot.

This was somewhere in North Dakota.

The wind was strong and the land was dry.

There's lots of room to run.

I enjoyed that we ran and grasshoppers ran too.

Sooke Pothole Provincial Park

I went to the Sooke River to swim in the clear water.

I heard salmon also go to the river to swim in fall.

I wonder how they go upstream on the river?

That must be a hard work because there were many waterfalls and pools on this river and they don't have legs unlike me.

I couldn't believe that the pools were naturally carved into the river's bedrock during the last ice age, 15,000 years ago!

Anyway, I felt so nice!

I felt able to swim to that Olympic mountains in the US now.

We dogs can enjoy here freely now, but I heard here was military ramparts.

We can play on the bunkers, lookouts and defensive berms peacefully.

I went to Mt.Douglas to see the sun rise.
I didn't have nothing to say in the moment of rising the sun.
I could feel that my body got warmer and warmer.

Finally, the sun had risen in this island, west end of North America.

My grand parents had been to Victoria, my town!

I guided them my town and we spent a long time together.

I was sad when I said good-bye to them.

But surprisingly, I met Carol who rescued me at the airport by chance !

I had never seen her since I said good-bye to her.
